    3. The Cappawhite Hunts together with the Christian names Vere and Fitzmaurice all tie in with mine. The original of these Hunts came from Essex in England, he might have been fleeing, because he had managed to annoy his distant relations the De Vere's and a large proportion of the British establishment, which meant that a stay in the Tower of London was looking likely unless he moved. You should be hearing soon from Ros in Australia. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ibsjackson" <ibsjackson@xtra.co.nz> To: <IRL-TIPPERARY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 11, 2006 12:38 AM Subject: Re: [TIP] Henry HUNT / Elizabeth BELTON > Thank you Peter for your information and for passing on my message to > Australia. > One of Henry Hunt's grandsons Cecil Henry Hunt, went to Australia in 1924. > A > son of Cecil Hunt, Trevor Hunt and a granddaughtet Marcia Miller are also > trying to track their ancestor down, but so far without luck. > Do you by any chance have 3 Henry Hunts in succession among the 15 Hunts? > I found a Griffith Val. 3. Hi Peter, The Hunt you mentioned. Was he by any chance Henry Hunt, known as "The Orator" and radical political reformer, who inadvertently started off the Peterloo Massacre? From memory he did "visit" the Tower for a spell! (Without the Axe treatment) Best wishes, Inga ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter" <paircfada@eircom.net> To: <IRL-TIPPERARY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 11, 2006 9:57 PM Subject: Re: [TIP] Henry HUNT / Elizabeth BELTON The Cappawhite Hunts together with the Christian names Vere and Fitzmaurice all tie in with mine.
