I believe that I have tracked my g-g-grandfather, Matthew Savage Todd, to Rossacrow in the parish of Donohill. I know he was a schoolteacher and Griffiths shows Matthew Todd living next to the school in Rossacrow so it seems to be a good match. Griffiths also shows Thomas Todd living in the nearby townland of Clashnacrony. The children of Matthew Todd (Frederick, Sophia, Robert) born (1844, 1851, 1857) all moved to England but, so far as I know, Matthew stayed in Ireland.
