Tipperary Ireland close to a cross roads called Poulmucca. Poulmucka comes from the geelic meaning "Pigs' Hole". Legend has it that the origins of the name is as follows: From a mersh adjacent to my family farm a little stream flowed for about a half mile where it went undergouund. A piglet is said to have entered the hole with the stream and reappeared where the udder gound stream joined the river suir at Cahir some six miles away - hense the name Poulmucca which translates to "Pigs Hole". Poulmucca name is now associated with a nearby cross road with a pub and some houses. Tim Enright.
