Due N of Templemore, in Ballyhenry townland, Bourney civil parish, about 7 miles is one. To the east of Templemore, about 5 miles, the C of I church is in the village of Templetouhy, townland of Longorchard, civil parish of Templetouhy. Five miles to the south of Templemore, in the village of Dovea, Killahara townland, Loughmoe West civil parish, is another C of I church. The final one is in Kilfithmone townland, same civil parish, less than 5 miles WSW of T'more, along the R 501 regional road. All four of these churches are shown on the current Discovery maps, as well as early 19th century maps. All of them but the church in Dovea village are listed in Mitchell's Guide to Irish Churches and Graveyards. I don't know why that one was omitted from the Mitchell book, as the church is clearly shown on the current map - so it can't be "disused". Perhaps someone else will know the answer, as I don't....... but it wouldn't be the first omission in Mitchell's book. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Pete Schermerhorn, in the glorious Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts
