Hello Mary Could you tell me if that book is generally about the area and its history or is specific about the families who settled there? I am starting to think that I will never find any references to the Bowles who settled in Kilcooley (Bawnlea and the Commons) in the late 1700's to early 1800's but it doesn't seem like any records from that area have survived. If there are Bowles references in that book I would certainly be interested.
