    3. Hi list , Merry Christmas to all, I am posting my Kennedy girls in the hope sks could help me find them they came to Australia in 1853 on board the Travancore they arrived in Western australia in Jan of 1853: they are Bridget Kennedy(Biddy on ships list) born abt 1832 and Mary Kennedy born abt 1832. Their father was listed as James Kennedy and mother Margaret unknown. When my Bridget Kennedy married in the same year to Henry Wilkins just after arrival the witness to the marriage was a Patrick McNamara born abt 1810 who arrived on the same ship. Not sure if it has any bearing on locating my Kennedy girls but as they where only 20 yrs of age thought they may have had a family they came with from Tipperary. As the Travancore states it departed London how would i find my Kennedy girls going from Tipperary to london to start their journey. Any help in researching these lovely ladys would be most welcomed as it would be nice to have their parents home for christmas. regards tricia Western Australia

    3. Hi there Tricia: Merry Christmas to you too. We too, are searching Kennedy's of Tipperary. Ann Kennedy, daughter of Denis and Mary Kennedy. Ann was born in Tipperary about 1835-36. Her father was a farmer in Tipperary. We believe that she had a sister Margaret who was a witness at her wedding to William Sexton in 1862 in Manchester, England. They moved to the USA in the mid-1880's. That is about all we know of our Kennedy's.
