Later on today, I will check the names in the tithes versus the names in the Griffith's Valuation and see if there are some common ones and hopefully, your theory will be correct. It does make sense considering the spellings of townlands that I have found in the tithes. However, I have been doing these tithes for years and it is not uncommon to find a civil parish or part of a civil parish in the middle of an unrelated area. Thanks as usual for you help.
