i am researching the family of James O'Dwyer and Mary Maher from the Parish of Thurles. whilst in Tipperary in 2001 i found a family at the Tipperary Heritage Unit which matched this family but they were all baptised in Upperchurch, as these parishes are close in vicinity does anyone know if it is possible that would have gone to Upperchurch to be baptised instead of Thurles? these were the years 1831 to 1844. the children consists of Ellen, James, Daniel, John b1838, Ellen, Phillip who went to Ohio USA and Thomas. John my ggfather came to Victoria Australia 1858 at age 17. Daniel also came to Victoria c1859.
