Searching for the Hickey family from "the shadow of The Devil's Bit", not exactly sure other than that. John born 1800, Margaret nee Lamey/ Leamy born 1809, plus 6 of their 8 children. Patrick, Michael, Denis, Ellen, Bridget and Johanna all came to Moreton Bay in Queensland in 1862. The elder two children, Mary born 1829, John born 1831 were supposed to have gone to the US. I've tried to find them during a visit to Salt Lake City earlier this year but didn't have any success.
