Siblings Martin Hayden (b. 1830) and Margaret Hayden (b. 1823), possibly more--Laurence???. Don't know their birthplace or parents. Martin Hayden married Margaret Turner (daughter of Nathaniel Turner) on 11 Feb 1857 at Mountshannon, Coolderaugh, County Clare. Not all children known. Definitely Michael Arthur (b.18 April 1866 at Castle Street, Nenagh, Roman Catholic, baptismal sponsors Nathaniel Turner and Johanna Tumpane) and Johanna Mary (b.2 Sep 1859 at Nenagh, Roman Catholic, baptismal sponsors John Tumpane and Fanny). Also a Josephine born about 1864-1865. Martin Hayden is at 15 Castle St. in 1856 Slater's Directory, spirit dealer and grocer. Eventually moves family to Ballinasloe, County Galway, where he dies in March 1871. Margaret, and then her daughter, Josephine (appears to be a different woman than Johanna) operate Hayden's hotel on Dunlo St. there from at least the mid 1890s. Son Michael Arthur marries Margaret Mary Connell (daughter of Martin Connell and Mary Flynn) and has three children: Margaret Mary Pauline 1907, Martin Cecil Arthur 1908, and Dermot Joseph 1912. Margaret Turner Hayden dies 6 May 1899 at Ballinasloe. Margaret Hayden (sister to Martin) married John William Tumpane. Had at least five children: Daniel (baptized 26 Jan 1848, sponsors Martin Hayden and Johanna Tumpane), Johanna (baptized 23 Feb 1849, sponsors Laurence Hayden and Kate Tumpane) William Patrick, Christiana, and Kate. Margaret Hayden Tumpane died at Nenagh on 25 Jan 1874. Some Tumpanes went to Australia, and I believe some may have gone to the US. They also were Roman Catholic.
