> > any chance this is Knockbulloge townland in St. Patricksrock civil parish.? Essentially part of Cashel town today? > Hi Cindy, good hearing from you. I started working on these yesterday and found in the Knockaboulagh book what looked like townland names running along side the page: Knockewoula, Knockellengough and Knockatoura. I recognize the last one as probably Knockatoora Commons in Upperchurch Civil Parish. Comparing the names from the three townlands with the Griffith's Valuation names, I found the most distinctively different names (other than all the Ryans) similar between Knockewoula and Knockcurraghbola Commons in Upper Church Civil Parish. I also found similarities between Knockewoula and Knockmaroe in Upper Church Civil Parish. What I plan on doing is transcribing the Knockaboulagh Commons section separately with a note as to where I found it and some of the similarities I found with the GV. I don't feel 100% comfortable of assigning it to Upperchurch Civil Parish. But, before getting this online today, I will check the GV for Knockbulloge, St. Patricksrock and see if I can find any similar names. Thanks for the suggestion. Thanks to all who have tried to help me. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com
