    3. I have a James Holden born about 1843 'Waterford, Ireland' to John Holden and Julia Magher. John Holden is estimated to be born between 1793-1801 in Ireland. Julie Magher about 1819 in Ireland. John & Julia with children James and Edward immigrated to the U.S. when James was about 3 years old. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of val kenelley Sent: Sunday, May 17, 2009 6:29 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [IRL-TIP] Family Connections,Kinnally,Maher's,Stapletons. 3. My great-grandparents John Fogarty and Margaret Kennedy were married on 26th February, 1870 at Grenanstown near Toomevara in County Tipperary. The register entry showed James Stapleton and Bridget Leamy or perhaps Leahy as witnesses. I know nothing about the witness James Stapleton. The groom was described as a resident of "Ballaheen Killea". The parties left Ireland in 1878 and settled at Wagga in southern New South Wales. Regards, Andrew Fogarty Casino N.S.W.
