My thanks to Geralyn Barry for her informative reply about Griffiths Valuations. Many years ago I had searched the microfiche version of the above, and gained much information from them. Since then as more names are appearing on the family tree, unfortunately I do not have the access to the microfiche any more, so it was with great excitement that did a quick search this morning and found out so much more about my family. Where would we be without these lovely people who give so generously of their knowledge to help their fellow researchers. My thanks to you all Maggie Heffernan in Port Macquarie researching Buckley, Dwyer, Irwin, Heffernan, Herrick, Magrath McGrath, Malone, Seymour, Tierney from Tipperary > Date: Thu, 18 Jun 2009 12:40:59 -0700 > From: Geralyn Barry <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [IRL-TIP] Where is Toomyvara/Toomevara in the online > Griffith's? > To: [email protected] > Cc: Jan Kenney Fortado <[email protected]> > Message-ID: <[email protected]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed > > To search by townland on the > http://griffiths.askaboutireland.ie/gv4/gv_family_search_form.php > website, you need to select the "Place-name Search > <http://griffiths.askaboutireland.ie/gv4/gv_place_search_form.php> > option" at the bottom of the page, then choose Tipperary (not north or > south) for county, then Aghnameadle as parish.
