    3. Jan I had a look at Ask about ireland Griffiths site and it is very confusing . If you take placename search get Tipperary rather than Tipperary North and then Aghnameadle (did I spell that right) it will show town -What is confusing is that it just says Tipperary beside it whereas if you go to the actual record it shows it as the Town of Toomyvara Hope this is of use Clare ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jan Kenney Fortado" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, June 18, 2009 7:32 PM Subject: [IRL-TIP] Where is Toomyvara/Toomevara in the online Griffith's? >I wanted to check to see who was a resident of Toomyvara Town (also spelled > as Toomevara) but cannot find it when I check the online Griffith's. > http://griffiths.askaboutireland.ie/gv4/gv_family_search_form.php > > Does anyone have a suggestion? > > Thank you, > Jan > > _______________________________________________________ > Griffith's Valuation: http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter. 3. Jan, go to Yahoo type in Toomyvara Ireland and look on Wikipedia. You have to play around with it but it mentions route #'s 500 & 499, Birdhill and the Silvermines . You might be able to figure out what the closest parish on the drop down on the Griffiths. I think it might be Kilnarath.
