    3. Hi Ellen, The information I have on the Talbots is from much earlier than your Michael’s time but a Benjamin Talbot of King’s County, whose sister Margaret married into my Kingsley family, did lease lands - for a term of three lifetimes - in Tipperary in 1710 (Memorial no. 5008 on FHL film #461307) and possibly Michael is somewhere in this line. Have you seen the many Talbot pedigrees, will abstracts, etc. listed in the MS collection of the Genealogical Office at NLI (Consolidated Index to the Records of the Genealogical Office by Virginia Wade McAnlis, on-line at NLI)? One from this area: MS 292-298 Betham Sketch Pedigrees Series 2, VII, p.1 [Talbot] of Cloughjordan, Kings Co. Sorry I don't have anything from later dates to offer. Carole PS: A number of my Kingsleys migrated to Tasmania during the nineteenth century. Did your Talbots go there too? --- On Wed, 8/24/11, Ellen Crehan <ecrehan@bigpond.net.au> wrote: > > Michael Talbot and wife Margaret Doyle are my gg > grandparents. > > > I would be grateful for any suggestions , guidance or hints > as to how I may obtain more information..  > >
