I'm a "happy camper" today because I took a chance and got a death certificate from one of the microfilms that the LDS (the Mormon Church) has - for a person who died in 1864 - and, guess what? The name of the informant has a different surname and it says he was a cousin of the deceased. How's that! Also says he was married - and that he died in "BallyCormack (or BallyGormack) House" of general debility for two weeks. I found the certificate by going to Familysearch, and looking for Ireland, Civil Registration Indexes, 1845-1958 and from there to the year 1864 for the actual entry. Thank goodness, I knew which page number I wanted. It was page 594. Anyway, now to figure out about that Bally *ormack and where and what that was. Heidi
