Thanks, Yes, I think I have worked out the correct spelling, and it appears that parish is next to , or around the town I am looking at. However, Have just returned from a Christmas break a couple of hours ago and mind still not in research mode.... so I will check back and tell you what I know. I haven't done research in Ireland, except for one little bit I managed in Cork. So wouldn't mind getting back to you. Glenda
