Hello All,   I was taking a look through parish registers for Clonoulty & Rossmore the other day and came across this surname.   Over a number of years this name appeared on a number of occasions in the baptismal register of persons converting to Roman Catholicism. This might come in handy to widen the search for those who are interested in this surname.   26th June 1828 Clonoulty R.C. John Pennefatherof Marlow Esq. renounced the Church of England nd embraced the Holy Roman Catholic church.
