The names FLANAGAN and COYLE appear in my maternal line. William FLANAGAN married Catherine COYLE on November 24, 1835 at Christchurch Greyfriars Newgate. According to the 1841 census both William and Catherine's ages were given as 25 years and both came from Ireland. By 1841 they had had 3 children, William, Margaret and Emma. On this census William's occupation was given as Artisan and on his daughter Emma's birth certifcate as silversmith. A check with the Goldsmith Guild has indicated a William Flanagan, but whether it is the correct person or not remains a mystery. The 1841 census also lists a Margaret Coyle again aged 25 (this was the time of the + and - age) with a Thomas Coyle, aged 10 living further down the street. Does anyone have a missing Flanagan or Coyle in their family line Thanks - Pamela
