These families all lived district of Glenmaddy, Townland of Aghalateeve from at least 1800 in person of my gg grandfather Patrick Hurley[ Hurly]. His wife was Mary Redington.Children: Eleanor,John, Bridget, James[my grandfather]who migrated to Iowa U.S.A. in 1864, Patrick,& Margaret who married a james Neary She was a widow early in life and then went to live with her brother John along with her son James on Johns farm.My aunt visited a Neary family in the 1950s & received a photo of a girl called Kathleen Neary of Ahalativee, Creggs, Co. Galway dated 1959, a young girl.Would like to correspond with anyone who knows of these people.
