Hi Listers, I wish to thank the kind person who is sending the newspaper references. I look at every name just in case. My interests in Roscommon are PURDUE/PERDUE, JACKSON, Knockcroghary/Galey/ Athlone area. Most departed from Ireland but the Jackson's were there on the 1901 census as was Thomas PERDUE.
