The town of Roosky is right on the Shannon, in Termonbarry civil parish, about 9 miles ENE of Strokestown and about 13 miles SE of Carrick-on-Shannon. There are two nearby Tullys. One in Kilglass CP, 5 miles SW of Roosky, and the other is in Kilmore CP, 5 miles NW of Roosky. By the way, the other Roosky is westward, a couple of miles from Ballaghaderreen. I believe the Tully townland in Kilglass parish is the one you want, as it borders the townland of Ballyfeeny to its south (in fact, the border between the two townlands is well over a mile long - lots of opportunity to "get to know" the folks in the next townland).
