    3. For those researching the area of Athlone, and can't find anything regarding the census. You might want to try the local library. There's a Mr. O'Brien there and he made copies for me for the census records of the time I required. It's only 10 cent a copy. Actually he didn't charge me..but, I would recommend that you send acouple of dollars at least. He will make copies for you. He's a wonderful gentleman...and very helpful (self address envelope...but, he 'has' to put have an Ireland stamp as it's going OUT of his country:-). Also if you know your ancestors were born in Athlone, Co Westmeath, you might want to write to Patsy Norton, there again send some $ as she has access to the records at St.Peter's church there. I found my g.g.grndparents in there. The records are in a room behind the pulpit. Large Red books..she holds them while you 'view' the records. They are most helpful. Att: Patsy Norton, St.Peter's & Paul's on Church Street. Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. That should do it. The library is across the street from the church and sits on Church St. as well. Good luck.
