I can't seem to make any progress on my NASH line from Roscommon. Supposedly my ggrandmother, Agnes B. Nash, immigrated from the town of Roscommon in Co. Ros. to Brooklyn, NY. We have no idea WHEN, nor what her parents names were, but her siblings were: Mariah, Patrick, & James. My cousin spoke with her only living child today & she told her that her mother was "very secretive" about her age & anything about her past. They all traveled back to Ireland 3 or 4 times, but only to visit her husband, Kieran CURLEY's family in Athlone. We were hoping she could give us some clue, but all she remembered was BOYLE - but I'm not sure if it was the name of the townland or something...anyone ever heard of it? Agnes's son, Thomas Curley, received his confirmation in Ireland during one of their 4-month visits. Has anyone ever requested these documents? I'm curious what info might have been listed on it. If anyone has heard of the Boyle area, please email me....I'm at a loss at what to do with such crappy info! Thanks! ~Sue :}
