Dear Therese: Thanks for your e-mail. No, I'm sorry, no Enochs that I know about! I have traced mine back to about 1750 in Oystermouth which is about 5 miles from Swansea, South Wales. Lloyd is such a common name but I was lucky, in that 'my lot' stayed in the same area for several generations and appear, quite clearly, in the local parish records. There are LLOYDs on my husbands side too, but they are from the Denbigh area of North Wales, so no connection between the two! I know very little about the North Wales family. They are hard to trace and I am only interested in researching my own side. Cousins of my husband are researching both his sides, but again no Enoch LLOYD of whom I am aware.
