I did have this in my C drive so follow the directions. I got it from somone else and this is all I know about it. abn Date: Tues 14 May 2002 Subject: Fw: Virus A friend of ours belongs to a Christian Group that sends Email back and fourth to one another. He received this and just wanted to let you know if you wanted to check on it. We just received information that someone sent us an infected e-mail with mails itself out to everyone in the recipient's address book. I checked it, and sure enough it was here, so I deleted and since I had it, you will too, even if I don't send you anteing. It sits quietly for about 14 days before damaging the system. To get rid of it DO THIS: 1. Go to Start, Find, or Search option. 2. In the files/folder option, write the name jdbgmgr.exe. Be sure you are searching your hard drive (c). 3. Click "Find now" (The virus has a little bear as an icon with the name jdbgmgr. 4. DO NOT OPEN IT 5. Right click and delete it (it will go to the recycle bin) 6. Right click on your recycle bin and "Empty Trash" so it deletes it there as well, and it should be gone from your computer. IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS YOU MUST CONTACT ALL PEOPLE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK SO THEY CAN ERADICATE IT IN THEIR OWN SYSTEMS. Sorry about this but we didn't ask for this "visitor" either. I am looking for any information that I can find on the Duignan family. I am the ggggranddaughter of Juda Donohue Duignan. I do not have her husband's given name. I know they were from Roscommon and that they had two son's, Francis and Michael. The sons came to the United States, but the parent's did not. I am the descendent of Francis. I would appreciate any information anyone could give me. Before deleting any files, make sure that this is a valid message and not a hoax. I have heard of instructions like this that delete critically important files. The best way to avoid a virus is to use good anti virus software and keep it up to date. John Mills ABN wrote: > > I did have this in my C drive so follow the directions.
