I've checked the Motorway Regulations and find that neither oxen drawn carts or pedestrians are allowed to use the motorways and therefore conclude that they must have used some other route!!! At present, I'm favouring the A5 suggestion but this may have prolonged the journey as there are so many sets of traffic lights on it. As for the Rotterdam lists, look again at the 5th Party...you'll find Johan Adam there! Keep well!
