I'm going to further confuse this query by saying that I have a possible marriage of a Mary Ruttle/Ruckle to a Jacob Switzer in Ireland. I have been unable to confirm this although it fits in nicely for us if it really happened. Has anyone any information on this? A marriage with those names is mentioned in "The Palatine Families of Ireland" by Henry Z. Jones (p. 104). Mary is identified as the daughter of Daniel Ruckel, no dates given. Jones attributes the information to Walter Ruttle of Ballingrane, a descendant of Daniel. Dave Larkin
