    3. Well, since Caspar was listed as Age 49 in 1709, he could have had a 30 year old son, the information I have does not give any dates of births for the other children. and you are right, no one knows for sure what happened then. Sebastian and Margaret Embury had 8 children, one being Barbara Ruttle who married Paul Heck. A lot of dates are missing so it is hard to say. Perhaps someone in the Ruttle line would know more about them. And we know thousands did come over but only around 800 went to Ireland to settle on the Southwell Estates. And as we are irish Palatines, I think those are the ones we are most interested in. Perhaps Mary Wallace could lend a hand here as she recieved Royal Spears research when he died. Maybe she has more information than most. I can only give the information that I have available and which I am only too ready to share with anyone that wants it. If it is wrong, I do apologize since it is Royal's research which he sent me years ago. Things could have changed since then, and as he did not have access to the internet perhaps a lot of things have come to light since then. Everyone has their own heritage and that is what they mostly work on, My web page is proof of that,, as I dealt mostly with the Doupe's/Shier's, but I am descending from a great many more, such as the Dolmage's, Switzer's, Fitzelle's, Corneille's, etc. I also have the Corneille's information and all who married into that group, such as the Ruttles, Switzer's, Shier's and Doupe's. I only gave you the information that was given me, I apologize if I have given anyone the impression that it was gospel. guess I should be more careful helping people in the future for fear I am wrong, or the information I was given is wrong. 1. Henry Ruckle => Ireland to Canada
    2. Dave Lindsay
    3. Judy: I'm wondering if you have any information on my old Ruttle ancestors. Henry Ruttle (b. 1789 Ireland, d. 1836 Lanark, Ontario) was married to Catherine Breathour (b. 1794 Ireland, d. 1876 Lanark, Ontario). The family name was spelled Ruckle when they are listed at the Perth Settlement in 1816. They arrived with 3 young children, the oldest was Samuel (b.1813 in Ireland). Any information will be appreciated. I'm especially interested in ties to other Ruttle families and who might be the parents of Henry in Ireland. Thanks, Dave Lindsay --- Judy Lyn <judylyn@gosympatico.ca> wrote: > {snip} > Perhaps someone in the Ruttle line would know more > about them. > And we know thousands did come over but only around > 800 went to Ireland to settle on the Southwell > Estates.
