Somehow, Royal Spear found a reference to a Daughter Juliana, as she married Jacob Teskey. she died in 1783, no mention of a birth,He does list three girls dying Margaret in 1743, Catherine in 1755 and Christiana 1747 - 1750 I always found this sad so many died so young. We are fortunate to be living when we do, when the premature babies have a chance to live. Disease struck down so many in that time period I think. anyways, Royal Spear does give a daugher Juliana, and he puts her first on the list of children. Judy

I am a descendant of Joanna/Juliana. Her parentage has not been confirmed in a primary source to my knowledge, but she was of the right time and place, and no other parents have been proposed that would fit better with her scant details. As I vaguely recall there was also an explanation for how it was reasonable that there was no record for her (incomplete church records or whatever, I can't recall now). It is rather unlikely that she was unrelated to all the other Switzers in the same Irish Palatine settlement. An interesting mystery. I would certainly be interested if anyone has any further information about Joanna/Juliana.
