I have been beating my head against a wall trying to go backwards with the Schweitzer line, looking into other German Schweitzers to see if I can find someone with a son named Johann Jacob, and have decided to work toward the future. So, I am now on the fourth generation from Johann Jacob, getting sidetracked constantly by Shiers and Dolmages and Emburys and Teskeys and Ruttles and the various incarnations of the names.
