It has pages and pages of pictures of the different families of Salt Spring Island...Not only the Ruckles but many, many other families. there are eight pages of pictures on the Ruckle Family site. Henry Ruckle migrated from Ontario, Canada to British Columbia. His family are descendants of Barbara Ruckle Heck's brother Daniel Ruckle. Daniel Ruckle had a son named George Ruckle, who is called George of Adare. George had a son Daniel Ruckle who migrated to Ontario, Canada...Daniel's son Henry Ruckle migrated to British Columbia to what is called Salt Spring Island. The land where Henry Ruckle lived is now called Ruckle Provincial Park. the Ruckles I believe donated the land to the Park. They still live on the property. Daniel Rucke who migrated to Ontario, Canada is the family whose descent is listed in the RUCKLE/SWITZER Fourth Annual Reunion Picnic held at Springbank Park, London, Ontario, August 20, 1925.
