I had the opportunity to photocopy the entire reel of the FHC's "Palatines". This is almost a journal of their journey from Germany to Ireland. Here's the table of contents: Bibliography of Irish Palatines Wesley's Journal Arthur Youngs Tour in Ireland Mr. and Mrs S.C Hall's Ireland Dunraven's Memorials of Adare Lenihans History of Limerick History of Limerick by Farrar Journals of Irish House of Commons Journals of Irish House of Lords Calendar of Treasury Papers Appendix to 2nd report of Historical MSS Commission Gilberts Report on the King Correspondene in the Lyons MSS Lewis's Topographical Dictionary of Ireland Mathewson's Irish Surnames in 1894 The "Irish Evangelist" for 1860 No. 9, Monthly Magazine Crookshanks History of Irish Methodism Burn's Chronological Rememberance Hart's Irish Pedigrees Sir. R. Steele's Memoirs of Thos Marquis of Wharton Annals of Queen Anne 1709, pp 166-8 Boyers Political State of britain Vol 1 pp 133, 276, 280 History of queen anne Vols 1 and II GP Disosway's "The Palatines in America" This is not "name indexed" so I can't really do look ups, but I'm willing to copy this entire thing and send it out to those who'd like it for the cost of mailing it. The copy is ok, not great, but readable. I have no idea who compiled it, but its a thorough job! Take care, Liz Haren (looking for Neazer from Limerick)
Dear Liz Haren, I'm afraid you will be swamped with requests for copies ot "Palatines", but I also would appreciate a copy if that is still possible. I am descended from Peter Sparling ( also Shier and Fissell) of Limerick and New York, who came with the United Empire Loyalists to Nova Scotia at the end of the American Revolution. Eventually this family settled in North Sydney Nova Scotia. Hello Liz - I am just home and catching up on my email from being away for a week. Would it be possible for me to get a copy of this book. Could you please let me know your p-copy and postage charges in order that I can reimburse you. Thank you.
