I'm new to Irish Palatines, I have done a lot of research on the New York Palatines. Fort Klock Historic Restoration, has a web site and links with great info on the Palatines. http:www.global2000.net/fortklock/history.html, also try the links. Many of these settlers were an important part of the Battle of Oriskany during the U.S.Revolutionary War, where lists of names of those in the regiments are posted. Herkimer Co.,Tryon Co., and Montgomery Co. links are also good sources. Many of the Palatine families, served under General Nicholas Herkimer.
