To Rod Switzer, Have you seen the "History of the Switzers from Before 1700" compiled in 1928 by Agnes Ann Armstrong (Mrs. Alex Ross), daughter of Agnes Lucy Switzer. It is LDS film # 1321067, item 30, and gives a little description of John Switzer's life in Blanshard Township, Perth County, Ontario. Agnes Lucy Switzer was a daughter of John Switzer and Agnes Corneille, sister, I believe, to your William b. 1829. She married Thomas Armstrong, brother to my great-great grandfather Johnston Armstrong who was married to a daughter of Agnes Corneille's sister Mary Anne who married Christopher Sparling. (seems quite complicated when I try to write it down !) Anyway, this little "history" gives names of the children and grandchildren of John Switzer and Agnes Corneille, and who they married. If you haven't seen it, and are interested, I could mail you a photocopy if you want to contact me off list.
