    3. Hello Twiss researchers. My Mum's sister Dora Micks married Edmund Twiss and lived at Dangan Mill House (now Manor!) Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. They were married in the early l920s. I think he may have been a widower so are there any family out there! He probably died in the late l920s or 30s and she died in the late l930s or early 40s. I have researched and written up my Mum's MICKS/DOUPE family Tree but could not find the dates of their s anywhere. I would love to include them. I was told they had married in a Register Office but Dora's Mum insisted they got married again - properly - in Church, which they did in St. Michael's Church Limerick.
