Just to let you know that 'some Switzers' cannot be found in Limerick. My children's gggg grandfather Tobias SWITZER 1783/5/7-1867 who married Elizabeth ???? & had 7 children in Ireland and I can't find a trace of them. This SWITZER family came to Ontario in 1825 with Peter Robinson settlers. Did other Palatine families come with Peter Robinson settlers in 1823 & 1825? His emigration papers say he was from Adare. Does anyone know if there are records in Ireland about Peter Robinson settlers? This is my brick wall...... Plus every record that I do find gives him a different birth date. He is buried in St. John's cemetery in Brock twp. Ontario, but lived in Emily twp., Victoria County, Ontario most of his life. His sons were called Christopher, John, Tobias & Amos and daughters Jane, Theresa, Elizabeth & Ann.....so some of them must be family names. I love the chatter on this list [but hard to keep caught up at times...LOL] Terry...did you ever get my parcel????? Canada Post is slow!!!!
