    3. Hi, Connie and Armand and everyone out there in IP Cyber Space! Thank you for posting, you two. We're delighted to hear from you! In fact, all subscribers are invited to post and say, "Greetings", just to allow everyone to get acquainted with you and your IP interests. We have over 150 people subbed to this list... let's hear from lots of you, please! All of us have something to contribute... Connie, this is a great group of pleasant, friendly, helpful folks, all intent on ferreting out IP ancestral information, which is not all that easy to find... (forewarned is forearmed <g>). Looking forward to receiving lots of IP mail in the near future as "lurkers" decide to post and say, "G'day", or "Bonjour", or "Hola", or "Top o' the morning to ye", or just plain, "Hello". It will be great to "meet" each and every one... Wishing each of you the very best of the Best! 3. Hello My Friends, This list makes it feel as if we are all dear old friends. I would like to add my warm welcome to Cyndi, Connie and Armand. I haven't had much input, but have received heaps of help and information from list members, and I suspect you will too. My line is the CORNEILLE line but only through my maternal gggrandmother. She married a SMITH of all things. It actually took this list to help me sort out where she came from. My John Corneille SMITH came to Victoria, Australia, after first heading to the U.S.A. to fight in the Civil War. I assume he had relatives there, but have not been able to trace his movements, as most records I've looked at don't include the middle name. (Brick wall number 1013, LOL) I think a web site linked to the list would be great, we have one on the Aussie-Gen-Research list and it is a great help with links etc. That was set up by a volunteer list member on rootsweb and seems well patronised. Unless I win the lottery, I don't think I'll be at the 2009 reunion, but my thoughts and best wishes will be with everyone there. Keep up the good work and the friendly atmosphere of this list, it is wonderful. Cheers Jacqui Cunningham Central Victoria http://www.oldnewscopy.com "It's Old News!"
