finish the keepsakebook with all the families. someone will be updating me with the Steepe family as I do not have that one. Just did the Teskey's and went back from me to Jacob teskey sr. and he is my 6 times gr. grandfather.. so looks like I am related to the Teskey's thru the shier line. I am just boggled at the fact that I am related to so many individuals.. wow.. anyway, just to let everyone know, I just have to furnish backgrounds to the pages now. Please sign the guestbook when you are finished. Judy
The Switzer pages are on now, I know there will be a lot more added to it when you start giving me your lines down from different individuals.. If you are thru a shier or Doupe line, please go to my other page <a href="http://www.geocities.com/judydrysdale">DoupeShier</a> they are probably there. Judy
Don't have that family on record. If you would like to give it to me I could add it. Campbellford, Ontario.. Where is that by? I live in Brockville. Judy
Goodday Judy From this message I assume that you have missed my Steep(e) family that settled in Killfinnane parish in the townland of Ballyrigin? ? Look forward to your reply. Hi Judy - My two grandson are descendants of the Lageer and Dolmage lines so, of course, I am very interested in the work you are doing - which I know is hard and tedious. Just transcribing from what you have posted is a BIG BIG job. Might I make a suggestion - please include both first and last names of each individual - if you have them. I am really getting confused over some of the entries. Sorry to be so thick-headed. With much appreciation, Marian ----- Original Message ----- From: "Judy Lyn" <judylyn@gosympatico.ca> To: <IRL-PALATINE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, April 22, 2004 8:30 AM Subject: Re: [IP] Piper Page > good morning all, > Just letting you know that the Piper page is on the Keepsakebook site. > www.geocities.com/keepsakebook/piper.html > > Rodenbecker is next > > If anyone has anything to add to this page, because I do not have much, please email me and let me know.. that is a reasonable request, what pages are you having problems with and I can go in and do that. It is a huge undertaking, I am still trying to sort out the Mick information. And I have some more on the Piper's. So I may be awhile getting everything done. Just let me know what page you are referring to.. I will gladly do what I can to clear up any confusion you may have. Judy
As far as we know Henry (b 1806) and Amelia (b around 1807) had children Eliza, Gerald, Richard, Henry, James and William, so there could have been a Catherine too (we wondered where the Catherine Halpin who married Henry Delmage on 9/2/41 at Adare fitted in). I am descended from James who went to England and some of his descendants went to Australia, where I come from. Others in the family had gone to Australia earlier, including Henry snr (but we found that Amelia stayed with James and family in London). We don't know Henry's father's name, but wondered if it was the Henry Halpin who married Elizabeth Switzer on 9/5/1786. Was Henry Halpin a son of John? Did Henry and Amelia have children Catherine, Eliza, Gerald, Henry and James? Mary Wallace

Hi Susan Many thanks for forwarding the ship list. It is very probably one of my "missing" LeGears. John LeGear born 1761 at Rathkeale and nothing known since. More work to do now to tie this one up! I was interested to see that apart from John Empey there were other names on the list that, although not Palatine, have had strong IP links. Such as the Spierins, Grahams and Heaslip! Not sure what that means though!! Take care Chris _________________________________________________________________ Tired of 56k? Does anyone know which family Amelia Sparling, born around 1807 probably Adare area, belongs to? She married Henry Halpin. Kathleen Rochester
I'd be interested in that myself. My great, great-grandfather, Marcus Sparling, was in the 'John of Adare' line. Marcus became well known for his photography work during the Crimean War. He was assistant to Roger Fenton. There is actually a picture of him sitting on Fenton's van that I found on the net. That was a wonderfull surprise.
Continuing with the Mick Line, have a bit more done on it. Still doing Adam Mick's and Dora Doupe's family. Have 31 pages to do, so it may take some time.. I will get it done.... eventually... as well as getting the other pages done as well. Judy
good morning all, Just letting you know that the Piper page is on the Keepsakebook site. www.geocities.com/keepsakebook/piper.html Rodenbecker is next If anyone has anything to add to this page, because I do not have much, please email me and let me know.. I will add to the page. thank You. Judy
I would like to find out the parents to this John Doupe who married Sarah Miller. They are the parents of Charles doupe who married Rachel Doupe Shier. Had some idea who they were belonging to, but it might be wrong. anyone out there who knows who this couple's parentage might be, I would appreciate it. Thanks. Judy
