The "first" of my HAGANs, came from County Monaghan, to Prince Edward Island (PEI) Canada about 1840. I say County Monaghan because of similar place names there and in PEI (e.g. Emyvale, Trough, Kelly's Cross). But they may also have come from County Tyrone. I have not been able to find any documentation in Ireland on my GG Grandfather listed below. As they were Roman Catholic, I am told it is very difficult if not impossible to find any RC church records prior to about 1845. *************************************************************************** Descendants of Thomas HAGAN (my GGGrandfather) * *************************************************************************** Thomas Hagan b. __-___-1786, Ireland, m.
