Birth certificiates will obviously give you place of birth and usually mothers maiden name if married, fathers name and occupation is normal as well. Death certificates as said before will give place of death and cause of death, if married, and name of informant. I found a death for Catherine Smyth in 1908 correct age, and all three entries in Monaghan, with the births at Tiernshinch. Joseph Smyth "United Kingdon, Chelsea Pensioners Service Records, 1760- 1913 correct date of birth, but I cant see a year he died. You can access F M P, but I am subscribed to Ancestry.
