    3. Strangely enough people seem to find more reasons NOT to take photos than to take them! I used to take some for Monaghan but it was getting into an argument as to how many pictures one could take in 1 minute that I gave up. I do Leitrim and some other places instead. Indeed Findagrave has been rewarding to me too! Others go into a g/yard and just take 1 or 2 pics of "their" lot... often g/stones can be the only record that exists for some churches. Don't forget it is often those with a vested interest that disrupts any attempt to photograph g/stones in certain counties!! Also, it is impossible at times to get volunteers to even transcribe what is on a gravestone which is why one often only gets a surname for a particular stone. There are plenty who just sit back and expect others to do everything for them. I'm rather surprised that you didn't know of IGP, the updates for new gravestones have been announced regularly on this board. Regards Dave Hall.
