    1. [MONAGHAN] Jane Darby, lived Cavan, Died Monaghan 1942
    2. Hi Listers, Today I have received the death certificate of Jane Darby, married, 80 years old. She died February 14, 1942 at Mental Hospital, Monaghan. She was from "at home" Cavan. There are no relatives listed on the certificate. Would the hospital have any records dating back that far? I suspect not but must ask the question. I have been in contact with the Monaghan liabrary and Catriona assures me that there was no obituary listed for her. I suspect, stronger now that it says that she is from Cavan, that this is my missing Ggreat Aunt, my great grandfather's older sister, born Jane Anne McDonnell. She married William Darby, from Cavan, in Monaghan in 1882. How do I go about finding any descendants? There were 3 children listed on rootsireland, 2 daughters and a son. Ann, James William, and ? (cant remember). There are several Ann Darby's on Family search and one had died as an infant, so I am not sure if her daughter died. They do not appear in the 1901 and 1911 census with the husband, although he is listed as married so I am stumped. They do not appear in all of Ireland! I also checked Scotland and England thinking they had left her husband. I was really lucky to spot this while browsing Family search. I am coming to Ireland in the fall, meeting a known cousin, and visiting a newly found cousin, all from this Jane's siblings. Would love to connect to any surviving family but what to do? Janet
