Thanks for all the wonderful responses on how to print out maps from the County Monaghan Planning site. My RIGHT CLICK button seemed to have no effect but using all your suggestions I finally worked out the following for my situation (Windows 200) After I clicked on photo, I had to add a step of going to EDIT then SELECT ALL before my program would let me copy the photo. Then PRINT SCREEN BUTTON Chose COPY Then go to WORD (already open) and PASTE (Control V) worked fine. I am delighted and will enjoy "playing" with the other ways to save as bitmap etc. Again many thanks, Maureen Farrell [email protected]
Then if you go to: http://www.seanruad.com/ you can find out the number of acres in the townland as well, giving you a better idea of the size of the fields and how many families could have lived in that area.
