Julie, I think now when I look at my Ballybay names it is a little misleading. Variants of MOHAN were born in Ballybay but married ladies who were not actually born in Ballybay. John MOAN from Ballybay, married Elizabeth DUFFY from Edenanane in R. C. Chapel in Ballybay, 1874 (As is written on the marriage cert.) George Patrick MOHAN from Ballybay, married Elizabeth WOODS from Magheross in 1901 in Carrickmacross. He is the eldest son of John.
