I have come across a couple more sites some may find of interest. In my searching I have found lists to be very helpful. but I have also used message boards. In fact it is thru them I connected to 5 cousins directly linked to my names. One cousin is in N. Ireland. I know a lot of you must know about Ancestry and Rootsweb boards, but there is another board for Ireland, Scotland and Wales.....It is Rootschat...here is site.... _http://www.rootschat.com/forum/_ (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/) Newspaper sites are also a great way of finding info in Ireland or anywhere for that matter......here are some Irish newspaper sites ...and they are always adding to them. Don't just look for Tyrone papers...sometimes articles were in papers outside of immediate area so look at all N Ireland. Plus N Ireland was actually a somewhat small area and people moved around alot. So don't limit yourself. If a family lived in Tyrone near the border to lets say Fermanagh.....and if the church in Fermanagh was closer to them....they may have very well have gone there for marraiges, christenings, deaths. In fact if Im not mistaken many parishes crossed over borders of townlands and counties. So if I've learned anything it is NOT to "assume" in searching in N Ireland.
