The reprinting of David Stroebel's recent question to you, covers my similar need for obtaining birth, marriage, and/or death notices from Catholic Churches in Clones and elsewhere in Monaghan. Can you recommend any specific area genealogists who are available for a fee? Thank you. Hey, Some Catholic Church records I´ve transcribed for Clones can be found at the following excellent website of a good friend of mine Claire. http://www.claires-rosleaancestry.co.uk/records.htm This website mainly focuses on the Roslea town part of the Clones Parish (which lay on both sides of the border south and north). Thus there are records for Roslea on this particular page, but also marriage and borth records for Clones town itself. Therefore of particular interest to yourself should be the links for Clones Births 1866-1881 and also Clones Marriages 1866-1881 Let me know what names and timelines are of interest to you.
