I've hit the brick wall in Monaghan in family research. My g g g grandparents marriage and death registrations show they were born in Monaghan Town in approx 1810. They were Catholic. Names are James Curran whose father's name was given as Patrick Curran. James Curran married Ann Connelly in Liverpool in 1840 and her parents names were Andrew Connelly and Mary nee Goodwin. They emigrated to Australia in 1854. According to list of Monaghan Town pubs, a Lizzy Curran managed a hotel in Mill St and Church Square Monaghan Town in 1881, she could have been a realtive as there were many Connelly's in Monaghan but very few Currans according to the Monaghan Town Family Roots Book. The pub was called Currans Hotel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sharon
