Elizabeth D. born 22 June 1842 to John Davidson and Elizabeth Cline/Clyne. Don't know where. Two children, John, Jr. and Elizabeth, born to John S. and Elizabeth D. Family history says in Glasgow but no records found in Scotland's People. Family immigrated to North America in about 1868 - 1869. Port of entry not found. John Sloy and appropriate family found in 1870 census of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Three or four more children born in Pennsylvania - Eleanor, Catharine, b. 27 Oct 1872, Nelly, Mary Josephine, b. 5 February 1876 Mary Josephine is my grandmother. John, Sr. is listed as a mechanic in Pittsburgh, PA city directories in the early 1870s. The family moved to Jefferson County, Arkansas in 1876 and is found in the census of Bogy Township, Jefferson County in the 1880 census. John, Sr. died about 1881. Grave not found. Elizabeth D. moved to Little Rock, Arkansas and is found there until about 1900 when she moved to St. Louis, Missouri where she died on 20 July 1914.
