Hello, I have just joined this list in the hope of finding more about the above family. I am researching George CLEGHORN who was born according to his military discharge papers in Tedavnet, Monaghan. Census documents put his birth about 1789. The 1796 Flax Growers list for Monaghan shows a Charles CLEGHORN, at Aghabog and I wondered if there might be some connection. Family resaerch in Ireland is completely new to me, so if you can suggest what sources might be available that would be wonderful. Thanks, Jack
